As a club of gliding enthusiasts, we would like to enable others to share our fascination for this sport with us.
That's why we offer to fly with us for a fee and experience the fascination of silent flying for yourself. You can also give such a flight as a gift.
One of our experienced pilots will take the controls. You will be towed to an altitude of approx. 2000m in one of our two-seater aircraft, so that the flight will normally last 45 minutes. The flight will take you to the beginning of the Alps, to the area around the Schneeberg and the Hohe Wand. After releasing from the tow plane, the weather will determine the rest of the flight. Depending on the conditions, you can circle under thermal clouds or perhaps take advantage of the rare slope wind on the Hohe Wand to gain further altitude. At the end of your flight, you will land back at Wiener Neustadt West airfield. If there is a possibility in your particular case and you feel like it, the flight may take a little longer. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this.
Requirements

- Minimum age 14 years
- Under 18 years a declaration of consent from parents
- Previous flying experience is not required
- Headgear and sunglasses
- Comfortable clothing
Duration
The duration of the flight depends on your enjoyment and the weather conditions. As a rule, the flight lasts approx. 45-60 minutes.
Please allow approximately 2.5 to 3 hours for the total duration including briefing and return to the hangar.

Weather conditions
Unfortunately, we cannot fly in all weather conditions. Strong winds, rain, thunderstorms or low clouds, for example, make our sport impossible. However, we always find a solution, even if the agreed date is not suitable.
Costs
The cost contribution for this flight is € 250.
Spectators
You are welcome to take family or friends with you to the airfield to keep you company before and after your flight. As a rule, photos and videos of take-off and landing should not be a problem.
